Introduction to Basic Pistol Course

Focus:

This course is tailored for beginner students on the fundamentals and principles of how and why proper pistol deployment is so important.

The individual will leave the course with the ability to draw from a holster. Presenting the firearm safely downrange while knowing their target, what is beyond it and putting rounds downrange accurately and effectively. 

If you do not have a firearm but wish to rent one, it will be an additional $15.00 to be paid in cash upon arrival to the class. 

Gear List:

  • One semi-automatic handgun and or revolver
  • Red dot or iron sights
  • Gun belt/Holster (Users’ choice minus Blackhawk serpa holsters w/ an index finger release) (If you do not have a holster, the same draw stroke mechanics will still be applied).
  • Minimum of 1 magazines (per firearm being used)
  • Weapon mounted light (optional)
  • Minimum of 200 rounds
  • Eye & ear pro (battery powered ear pro recommended)
  • IFAK recommended
  • Bring water, snacks & a lunch if you do not plan on leaving during the break
  • Hat, Boonie cap (recommended)
  • Weapon cleaning kit
  • Pen/notepad
  • Proper clothing (check weather report for appropriate attire)
 

Disclaimer: The minimum required class size is 4 students. If 4 students are not signed up within two weeks, the class will be cancelled, and the registered students will be refunded their money. If a minimum class size is reached, no refunds can be issued. By paying registration, you are agreeing to these terms. However, you shall be given credit to enroll in other courses.

U.S. Citizens only- Must be able to legally own and posses a firearm- Valid State I.D. required 

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
